Joe Rongere embarked on his journey in the plumbing industry by joining the Local 23 apprenticeship program in 1989, where the primary focus was on residential new construction projects. Upon attaining the status of journeyman plumber, Rongere transitioned to working on a diverse range of projects, spanning from commercial and industrial sites to healthcare facilities.
Noteworthy among his endeavors are contributions to projects such as the Belvidere Assembly, Woodward on Perryville & Harlem, Javon Bea Hospital-Riverside, and numerous Walmart stores. Rongere attributes his progress in the field to the support of loved ones, including his wife Nickie and brother-in-law, who provided him with invaluable opportunities and supported him along the way.
Throughout his training and career, Rongere remained dedicated to the teachings and experiences gained at Local 23 Plumbers & Pipefitters.
