Code Enforcement

Loves Park Code Enforcement Officers enforce all aspects of the City Code on a daily basis. Violations are received mainly from citizen complaints, but are also found during routine field inspections.

Common violations include:

  • Excessive weed growth (10 inches) & unkept properties
  • Abandoned, inoperable and unlicensed vehicles
  • Residences unfit for human habitation due to unsanitary conditions
  • Run down structures due to lack of property maintenance
