CITY TO RESUME ELECTRONIC MEETING FORMAT
Yesterday, the Governor announced additional COVID-19 Resurgence Mitigation Measures which are to take effect in Region 1 on October 25, 2020. Under these measures, the restriction on meetings to groups no larger than 10 has been re-imposed. As a result, the Loves Park City Council announces that it will be resuming electronic meetings effective October 25, 2020 and that it will continue to meet in that fashion until the restrictions are lifted with the Aldermen participating remotely. We will continue to broadcast our meetings via Facebook Live from the City Facebook Page and the City Website to allow for public access. The public will not be allowed to attend meetings in person at City Hall until further notice. If members of the public wish to access the meeting or address the City Council as part of public comment, instructions can be found on the City’s web site at CITYOFLOVESPARK.COM.
