Lori completed the electrical apprenticeship program through Rock Valley College and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in 1984. Over the following years, she worked as a journeyman electrician in a variety of locations, including several years as a partner in an electrical contracting business. She obtained her Master Electrician License in Wisconsin in 2001.  Lori started her job as electrical inspector for the City of Loves Park in 2002. In May of 2003, she obtained her certification for Electrical Inspector &  One- and Two-Family Dwellings through the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI). In July of 2004, she obtained her certification for Electrical Inspector; General, through the IAEI. Lori’s education is ongoing, as she attends classes and seminars to be knowledgeable on the newest materials and codes.
