The Loves Park Community Development Department, in a cooperative effort with the Loves Park Police Department, will be conducting a citywide property maintenance violation abatement initiative beginning on Monday, April 24, 2017. Representatives of the Community Development Department, along with officers from the Loves Park Police Department, will be surveying neighborhoods throughout the City looking for violations of the City’s Property Maintenance Code. Representatives will be going door-to-door to notify residents if violations exist on their property and designate a time-frame to correct such violations.
This effort is being conducted to eliminate blight, preserve the integrity of our neighborhoods, and enhance the living environment and quality of life of our residents.
The City is requesting property owners’ cooperation in correcting any violations that may be cited on their property.
