The Loves Park Water Department will begin its annual water main flushing program on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. The areas affected will be bordered by Harlem Road to the north, McFarland Road to the east, Applewood Rd .and Perryville Rd. to the west, and Riverside Blvd. to the south.
System flushing will be done between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday ending on Friday, April 1st, 2016.
Residents in the affected areas may find their water to be discolored. The discoloration poses no health risk but may cause staining of laundry and porcelain. Use Saturday and Sunday for laundry and other water uses that would be adversely affected by this procedure.
